The DM-58 is dynamic ball microphone based on the design of the SM-58. The DM-58 has a frequency response and cardiod pattern that is well suited for most sound reinforcement applications. The DM-58 has a very rugged and tough ball shaped windscreen and has a professional balanced XLR output.
The DM-58 has an additional heavy duty slide switch so the microphone handler can switch the microphone off when they are finished using it. This is perfect for small venues that don't have a sound man and the microphone must be turned off between users. The switch can also be locked in the ON position if required.
