Soldering Accessories: Fume Extraction
  Fume Extractor
SR-900
The SR-900 Fume Extractor is designed to minimize the dangerous smoke by-product produced during the soldering process.
Chemical gases are released into the air during soldering and inhalation should be avoided. With the inception of Lead-Free solder and its higher temperature requirements, the inherent flux in the solder has increased to as much as 70%. This has effectively increased the amount of particles, gases and contaminants released during soldering.
A high performance fan efficiently draws these gases through an activated carbon filter. The activated carbon has a surface area of 1250m square/gram and the total weight of the filter is 500 grams/meter square. The dust collection efficiency of the filter is 30% while the carbon filter can absorb up to 30% of its carbon weight in noxious components.
The result is an improved work place by eliminating headaches, nausea and eye irritations often associated with exposure to solder fumes and gases.

  • Minimizes the amount of particles, gases and contaminants released during soldering
  • Ideal for removing the higher levels of flux fumes found in Lead-Free soldering
  • 95 CFM High output / low noise fan
  • Activated Carbon Filter absorbs fumes and gases
  • Adjustable Tilting Head
  • Input: 120VAC
  • Dimensions (WxHxD): 220 x 260 x 200mm (8-5/8 x 10-1/8 x 8")
